Each valve is constructed of solid brass, bronze, and stainless steel, and features an adjustable piston that instantly and continually balances the hot and cold water pressure as demand fluctuates in the plumbing system. An adjustable stop screw limits the maximum hot water temperature. The Temptrol features a one-piece cast brass body that is designed to accommodate back-to-back and thin-wall installations. Each valve is shipped with ½-inch NPT threaded and direct sweat connection inlets/outlets for easy installation, and factory-installed options are available for CPVC, PEX, and ProPress® connections. This Temptrol includes the Symmons factory- installed Rapid Install™ Bracket, which cuts the time to install your shower valve by 67%! Not only is the Temptrol valve easy to install, but it is also simple to maintain and adjust when needed.
