The Digital Refrigerant Scale is one of the most technologically advanced refrigerant meters on the market; it is ideal for HVAC and refrigeration systems. Weight can be measured in standard or metric units. Built-in alarm will indicate when the programmed threshold has been reached. Features 1. High-visibility LCD display. 2. Three units of measure options(kg/oz/lbs). 3.Backlight for the display. 4.Automatic Shut-off after 10 minutes of non-use; 5. Backlit auto shut-off after 3 seconds unused 6.Compact, portable, battery operated design. 7.“FULL” display when the weight exceeds the specified range. Operation 1. Set up the unit as described in steps 1-5 under the Set Up heading. 2. Press the button to clear the unit. Be sure to start the unit at 0. 3. Place the cylinder in the center of the platform. 4. Start the charging or recovery operation by opening the cylinder and manifold and gauge set valves. 5. When operation is completed, close the cylinder and manifold and gauge set valves. NOTE: The unit has an Over Range Indicator which displays “FULL”when the weight of the cylinder exceeds the maximum capacity of the unit. To prevent damage to the unit, immediately remove the cylinder from the platform if the display states “FULL”. 6.Remove the cylinder from the platform and press the button to deactivate the unit.
