VERSATILE LAMP FOR ANY SITUATION The Lightview Pro Magnifier LED Magnifying Floor Lamp is perfect for the avid reader, hobbyist, restorer, or collector who just needs a way to bring the smaller details into clearer light, or for anyone who suffers from vision impairments of any kind. This lamp will help bring anything into focus, and will make it easier for you to do the things you love. Its flexible gooseneck and sturdy base allow you to move the lamp with ease into the position of your choosing. The adjustable pole that is included with the lamp allows you to adjust the height of the head for a greater usage range. The gooseneck can also be angled and positioned in any direction you need or angled over your bed or favorite chair so that you can sit in comfort as you read or work. The base is heavily weighted to provide the necessary tension to stabilize and hold the head in place wherever you position it. FUNCTIONAL AND LONG LASTING LED LAMP The energy saving LED light built in to the Lightview Pro allows you to keep the light on for hours without running up the electricity bill or overheating. That's just the beginning of the power of LED. Because of how efficient it is, it uses far less power and energy than incandescent or halogen lamps, and has a much longer lifespan than them too, (15-20 years!) so you will never have to replace the bulb. Pair that with the genuine diopter glass magnifying lens, and you can't go wrong. It's a 3 diopter lens and provides 175% magnification, or 1.75x and it helps for any situation where you just need that bit of extra vision. The light from the LED's work together with the lens to provide incredible benefit and make details crisper and easier to see, without being too harsh or glaring. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS- The lens of the Lightview Floor Lamp is around 6.5 inches long x 4 inches wide. The lamp's gooseneck measures 17 inches long; combined with the height adjustable pole and you get a height range from 24 to 44 inches. You can choose the specific height that works for your exact needs. The head's total outward reach is 27 inches. The base is heavily weighted to provide counterweight to the lamp's head and neck and keep it steady. It measures 10 by 9 by 1 inches. LED LIGHT SOURCE- This lamp includes a built-in power-saving LED fixture that stays cool, even as your living space bathes for hours. It has 9 watts, 870 Lumens and a color temperature of a clear, crisp 6,000 Kelvin. Because it's LED and uses far less power than incandescent or halogen bulbs, it increases the lamp's life expectancy to 15-20 years, and you'll never have the replace the bulb! (Please NOTE- bulb is not dimmable and cannot be dimmed externally at this time.) The built in magnifying lens is a 3 diopter glass lens that magnifies 175% or 1.75x the original item. ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION- The Lightview is really simple to put together. It comes with only four pieces, and also includes a simple instruction diagram to show how the parts fit together. Any necessary tools are provided in the package. The On/Off switch is conveniently located at the top of the gooseneck, near the lens. The lamp is plugin operated (5 foot long cord included!) and works with 110v - 220v outlets; you would just need to use a plug adapter to use it outside of the US, as the plug is made to fit standard US AC outlets. The lamp can be controlled using a wall switch, though it unfortunately is not currently compatible with Alexa. Just set the lamp up, leave it in the on position plugged into the wall outlet, and let the switch do the rest.
