It modulates the flow of exhaust gas into the intake manifold to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. It's used to reduce fuel consumption,improve engine performance. Note: Before installing this part, check the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve passage in the intake manifold and clear any carbon blockage. Failure to do so will result in repeat malfunction of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve system.
