These speakers are great for installation in various indoor and outdoor places. Each outdoor speaker features a 1" Nautilus tube loaded aluminum dome tweeter, a 5" glassfibre cone bass/midrange, and a rear-mounted auxiliary bass radiator (ABR), the speakers provide room-filling, high-quality audio with an exceptional bass response. Designed to be positioned in both landscape or portrait mode while mounting, the AM-1 speaker pair is super flexible and can be rotated through 110 degrees from center in both directions. They are constructed with premium quality, rust-proof aluminum grille with a rigid cabinet of glass-filled plastics to brave the elements while delivering extraordinary audio output. The AM-1 is put through continuous testing in an accelerated salt-spray chamber, as well as outdoor UV accelerated life tests to ensure that the parts don’t discolor.
