The IDEAL 74-028 Ductile Iron Bender Head and Handle for 1-Inch EMT conduit is constructed out of ductile iron for added for durability. Its heat treated for extra strength with reinforced stress points for long life. It has a precision-located degree scale, star arrow and rim notch for the perfect bend every time. There are markings raised and cast into the bender body on both sides for easy visibility. The deeply serrated step and grooved internal hook surface helps prevent slippage when applying maximum leverage. The flat hook surface provides a stable starting point and there is a lifetime replacement guarantee. In 1916, J. Walter Becker started the Ideal Commutator Dresser Company of Chicago from his mother's kitchen. He manufactured commutator dresser stones with the belief that every product should be worth more than the price paid for it. Service, he said, was part of the product.
