Both sides of an FM1400HD mechanic series ladder can be used simultaneously. Twin-front mechanic stepladder is designed for entry from either side and can hold 375 pounds on each side. Great for over head projects that require an extra set of hands, and require non-conductivity Total combined weight on ladder must not exceed 750 pounds (375 pounds per side). This ladder meets all OSHA, CSA and ANSI standards.
