Apply Scotts® Professional Turfgrass Seed Tall Fescue Mix in the spring or fall when air temperatures are consistently between 65°F and 85°F. Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall. One 50 lb. bag of Scotts® Professional Turfgrass Seed Tall Fescue Mix has a new grass establishment coverage of 6,250 sq. ft. (application rate: 8 lbs. seed/1,000 sq. ft.) and an overseeding coverage of 12,500 sq. ft. (application rate: 4 lbs. seed/1,000 sq. ft.).
