The anchors measure 3-5/8 inches from the wall, while the total depth to the tip of the bar's curve is 4-1/2 inches. For installation, wood blocking is preferable behind all wall surfaces. If wood blocking isn't available, one of the following fasteners are suggested: tile/masonry plastic anchors or plaster/drywall toggle bolts.
