The total length of the grab bar is 19 inches from outside to outside of the flange. The grab bar diameter is 1.25 inches and the flange plates and cover are 3 inches in diameter. Please note: this grab bar is installed using hanger bolts or screws. The use of a hanger bolt driver or nut driver are required to install which are NOT provided. You can also use the jam nut method with a wrench which is super easy. Regular 2 1/2 screws can be used but a 3 inch bit extender is required due to the limited movement of the flange cover.
