Description:
The Motorized Elbow Damper "HAC-E" is the first of its kind and operates the same as the regular Hoyme Motorized HAC Damper. the 5"Ø Diameter and can be purchased as Power Open or Power Close. Unlike the HAC, the HAC-E cannot be changed in the field from PO to PC (or Visa Versa), so must be ordered as required. The Return Spring Plate, however, is the same as that of the HAC and has the same Adjustment Screw for Volumn Air Control. Not only is the HAC-E Adjustable for Air Flow but also for direction of 90° as well. That is why the HAC-E Damper, having the Adjustable Air Control plus the 90° Directional Control, makes it a perfect Retro-Fit for zoning existing Ventilation Systems - 'Remove and Replace' without cutting the duct. Also works well with Flow- Thru Humidifiers by automatically opening to a Pre-Set Position when Humidistat turns ON and stops the Recirculating Air when the Humidistat is turned OFF. Air is no longer needlessly ciculating through the Furnace.
