This bundle pairs two Pentair Pentek water filters to provide whole house filtration. The EP-20BB carbon filter effectively reduces chlorine taste and odor using a high porosity 20-inch carbon block design that allows water to flow through the 44,000 gallon capacity filter without plugging. Its uniquely formulated polyolefin pre-filter protects the carbon block from sediment. The ECP5-BB 10-inch Big Blue sediment filter complements the carbon filter by trapping dirt, sand, silt, and other particulates. Its pleated cellulose polyester filter media offers 33% more dirt holding capacity than standard cellulose cartridges. Together, these Pentek filters provide complete filtration to protect appliances and deliver cleaner, better-tasting water throughout the home. The EP-20BB carbon filter should be replaced yearly or when water pressure drops. The ECP5-BB sediment filter should be replaced every 6 months or when water pressure declines. Their color-coded end caps make replacement easy.
