Keep your wick trimmed to 1/8" at all times. Having a very long candlewick will cause excessive flame when burning. This will further produce black smoke. Therefore, please use the scissors to trim the wick to the ideal length for the best results. 3. Do not exceed 5 hours. When extinguish the candle, please gently blow the flame out or use a heat resistant cover. 4. Always burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface, keep it out of drafts.
