Fumed Oak Raw Wood Veneer Sheet 8 x 44 inches MEASUREMENTS: 8 x 44 inches. THICKNESS: The veneer sheets are approximately 1/42" or .6mm thick. Fumed or 'Smoked' veneers are made by exposing the raw wood veneers to ammonia gas. The ammonia reacts with the natural tanins in the wood and causing it to darken.
