The Soft Stop provides a clean, soft close. Manufactured to precise dimensions, this mechanism hides subtly behind the track, gently and quietly catching your barn door similarly to soft-closing drawer slides. Designed for interior hardware applications, the Soft Stop is a great and safe way to reduce the impact of the door upon the end of the track. The triggers adjust vertically to accommodate low spots and make sure the door functions smoothly. This product is designed for One-Way Operation. It comes in pairs, one for the left side and one for the right. You should install 2 at each side, then the door will stop softly when opening AND closing. Read more Install the Soft Close Mechanism Connect the two S-Shape hooks to both end sides of the soft close with the supplied screws. Simply attach the soft close to the back of the track with the hooks and fasten it with hex wrench. Attention: There is no need to drill small holes on the rail. Install the Actuator To determine where to install the actuator on the door, firstly you may push the door to the final stop position. Then place the actuator into the gap of the soft close, and fix the actuator there with the supplied screws.Repeat the above steps on the other side while installing the second soft close set.
